About

Danny Bowyer, known around the club as “Bows,” wears the number 3 shirt for Devizes Town, holding down the backline at left-back. Having previously played for Calne and Bristol Rovers, Danny brings valuable experience and defensive stability to the squad. A Manchester United supporter who idolises Kobbie Mainoo, dreams of playing at Old Trafford, and sides with Cristiano Ronaldo over Lionel Messi, Danny’s goal for the season is straightforward and defender-focused: keep as many clean sheets as possible.

Off the pitch, Danny has a real passion for high-speed sport – he used to race quad bikes, loves motorsport, and admits he’d be involved in motorsport full-time if he weren’t playing football. He also possesses a strong game on the court, listing tennis as his hidden talent. When unwinding after a match, Danny enjoys a nice cup of tea or a Disaronno, a plate of steak or a Chinese takeaway, and kicking back after a long weekend.

Inside The Dressing Room

Danny gives a massive double endorsement to Cal Parsons, voting him as both the funniest character and the most skilful player in the squad. He doesn’t hold back when it comes to Caleb Summerfield either, calling him out as the worst-dressed teammate and the last person he’d let cook him dinner. As for who takes the longest to get ready after a game? Danny shows total honesty by admitting that the biggest culprit in the changing room is actually himself!
